Biography

Over the past twenty years Scott has held several roles as an entrepreneur, operating executive and revenue generator within the technology and online media industries. Since the growth of the Internet in the mid-1990s, Scott has spent considerable time in both digital and social media arenas, as well as the marketing industry observing trends and helping companies bridge the gap between the traditional and new media worlds.
An expert in online marketing and implementation, his experience in companies like CompuServe (AOL), Macmillan Digital Publishing (Pearson) and Loudeye Corporation brings a breadth and depth of leadership experience from digital media firms. His views in these areas recently led to his book, The Blog Ahead, an overview and analysis of the growing social media space and its impact on business and the media. Scott writes the popular Citizen-Generated Media blog.
